How To Run an Improv Show Website
Role
My role was to write and design an intuitive guide on running an improv show.
Problem
I ran an improv group called the MackBelievers for a few years, and wanted to create a way for future leaders to easily understand what goes into running a show.
Audience
The future leaders of the MackBelievers Improv Group
Strategy
I began by identifying what I am responsible for this process and the roles of my executive board by reviewing our group's constitution. After writing these detailed steps, I had peers who were unfamiliar with this process to review the information to ensure that it was coherent for those who are completely new to this type of process.
Once I determined this information, I sketched several wireframes to understand the layout I would want to present this information. I designed the website in Adobe XD and continued to test it.
Final Product
This resulted in the creation of a website with both the steps on how to run an improv show and supplemental information including the rules of games we typically play during a performance and previous examples of shows.
